Décor Jetté had the opportunity to creatively design, do the florals for, and fully coordinate the wedding of Kelly Hilgers and Adam Winship. Kelly lived in another city and Adam lived in another state, so they really relied upon us to help bring the day and design together.


We wanted to make this wedding sustainable and swanky, while keeping the natural vibe of both the couple and the outdoor venue.

This was accomplished by:

a. hosting the ceremony and reception in the same location House on the Hill

b. using solar powered lamps on the cocktail tables in the pool area
having battery operated rice paper lamps raining down around the outdoor wedding grounds

c. utilizing organic lavender from Organic Bouquet and locally purchased flowers for the centerpieces and bouquets producing less waste making the centerpieces out of varying wooden trunks, funky candles, sand, recycled wine bottles, and a small arrangement of flowers
having beer kegs with Texas beers rather than producing a lot of beer bottle waste

d. Purchasing succulents from Plant Escape Gardens, an organic garden and gallery in Austin, TX. Clay pots were topped off with recycled glass adding glitz and glam.


The escort and table cards were eloquently designed by Lara Weber of Paper Pusher Designs.




Adam and Kelly picked three signature drinks to be served by The Peacock


· The Manhattan

· The Mojito

· And The Tailfeather (a wonderfully tangy drink to shake yo' tailfeather with)


And the gents of Vino Vino provided the wine to perfectly compliment the gourmet catering selections.
